In the recent years we have experienced a boost in Norwegian students that whish to take their medical degree abroad. Statistics from year 2011 show that 48 percent of all Norwegian medical students currently take their medical degree abroad. In 1991 only 16 percent took their medical degree abroad. The main purpose of this thesis is to investigate how Norwegian medical students that studied in Poland have adapted to the working life upon their return to Norway.
