Abstract
"The catalytic effect of neutral salts has been investigated for numerous reactions and various theories propounded to account for their action. In this work the action of normal potassium and sodium sulphates on solutions of the corresponding acid salt has been investigated for two concentrations of the latter at three different temperatures. An attempt has been made to account for the observed actions" – Introduction, p. 1.
