Abstract

"The purpose of this investigation is to compare the relative cutting speeds and efficiency of some of the different types of rock drill bits used in the piston machine, including the regular cross bit, the low center cross bit, a so-called "flat" cross bit, the "Z" bit of the southeast Missouri type, and the Joplin "Bull" bit" – p.
