Abstract

"The principal object of these tests is to determine the efficiency of the fan when working against the different sized orifices at various speeds and pressures. Before this could be accomplished, the coefficients of discharge of the 18 in., 24 in., and 30 in. orifices had to be determined" – Object of Tests, p. 4.
