Abstract
The preceding paragraphs have indicated the belt of townships under discussion and attention has been drawn to the early and most recent work, both in prospecting and geological surveying, that has been done in these areas.This thesis is a study to correlate published information on the belt of townships between the Porcupine District on the west, and the Beattie Mine Area in Duparquet township on the east. Most of the information has been compiled from Annual Reports of the Ontario Department of Mines. The sources of such information will be listed in the bibliography.
