Northwest EvaluationAssociation (NWEA) mathematics assessment scores of fifth-grade students whoparticipated in the 21st CCLC after school program and fifth-grade students who didnot participate in the 21st CCLC after school program were collected and compared. An ANCOVA was used to analyze the data. The results indicated that the studentswho participated in the program did not significantly outperform the non-participantstudents.Advisors/Committee Members: Borba, John (advisor).
