abstract__Abstract__ Idiopathic noncirrhotic portal hypertension (INCPH) is a rare disorder in the Western world (1 ). Most studies were performed more than 15 years ago enrolling patients for more than a decade earlier. The last decade only two small cohort studies have been reported in literature. As a result, many aspects of this disorder remain to be elucidated. This thesis aims to investigate the morphological features, etiology, prevalence and clinical outcome of patients with INCPH.markdown
