Abstract

The purpose of the PiSharp project was to build an IDE that is usable for beginners developing XNA-like programs on a Raspberry-Pi. The system developed is capable of1. Managing and navigating a directory of source files2. Display a file in a code text editor3. Display code with sytax highlight4. Automatically discovering program library structure from code namespaces5. Compiling libraries and programs automatically with recompilation avoided if source code has not been updated6. Compiling and running from the IDE7. Editing more than one file at a time8.
