Abstract

The paper aimed to explore to what extent Digital Technology influences and affects students’ educational and studying preferences at Roskilde University. For a better understanding, the theoretical side of the paper provides an insight into three core areas. (1) Learning Theories involving various stages and approaches to learning, ranging from the basic theories evolving into more specific types of learning theories. (2) Qualitative Research and (3) Grounded Theory are discussed together so that the data collection could be verifiably analysed in a more knowledgeable way. Empirical Research had been conducted in the forms of focus group interviews and individual interviews in order to serve as a basis for the analysis process and for the data. The analysis of the report begins by observing the learning processes in connection with Digital Technologies and continues to discover the importance/meaning of the three conducted interviews.
