Abstract

Distance Education is one of the important factor for overall development of any society but due to lack of good educational as well as Information Technology Communication infrastructure and many other reasons developing countries are struggling to implement distance education through Internet. Distance education can play vital role when traditional educational system can not cover all the demand of learning process due to various problems such as economical, social and political etc., exist in particular in developing countries. This thesis aims to draw attention to implement distance education through Internet to overall basic idea for mostly developing countries by considering Nepal as a model country. At the same time the language used on the thesis trying it best to make it simple and easy to understand for the mainly focused for audience from developing countries . The thesis focuses on Nepal and examines what have been done so far, describes the other existence form of distance education and the problem to introduce distance education through Internet use .It also look upon the solution of the problems and at final analysis and evaluation of it and draw conclusions.
