Abstract

"The detachable single-use rick-drill bit has attracted considerable attention in the mining industry of the United States during the past few years. While this type of bit has been used for some time in other countries, it has been only recently that these bits have been manufactured in the United States. It was decided to test this type of bit and make a comparative study of a single-use bit and a widely used detachable rock-drill bit" – Introduction, leaf 1.
