Abstract
"Complete designs and estimates for three self-anchored highway suspension bridges are made in this paper. The span lengths investigated are commonly considered to be shorter than the economic limit for suspension bridges. Simple truss and cantilever bridges are usually considered the most economic types for these span lengths" – Synopsis, p. 1.
