Abstract

Mentoring is a readily used intervention for at-risk youth and because of its prevalence and consensus of being viewed as a positive solution for curtailing high dropout rates, crime and violence it is important to understand how the mentee views and comes to understand the dyadic relationship of mentoring.Advisors/Committee Members: Pak, Yoon (advisor), Pak, Yoon (Committee Chair), Anderson, James D (committee member), Span, Christopher M (committee member), Ward-Hood, Denice (committee member).
