Inicialmente, esta dissertao discute requisitos bsicospara aplicaes proativas de monitoramento em tempo real. Emseguida, prope uma arquitetura para aplicaes proativas quemonitoram objetos mveis, explorando a semntica da trajetria e adinmica do ambiente. Por fim, fornece um exemplo sobre como umaaplicao que monitora uma frota de caminhes pode se tornarproativa, utilizando notcias sobre condies da malha viria, apartir da publicao de dados em texto no estruturado atravs daInternet. A dissertao descreve como estruturar e georreferenciaras notcias, utilizando servios de geocodificao. [en] Positioning systems, combined with inexpensivecommunication technologies, open interesting possibilities toimplement real-time applications that monitor moving objects andthat support decision making. This dissertation first discussesbasic requirements for proactive real-time monitoring applications.Then, it proposes an architecture to deploy applications thatmonitor moving objects, are pro-active, explore trajectorysemantics and are sensitive to environment dynamics. Lastly, thisdissertation provides an example of how an application thatmonitors a fleet of trucks can become proactive, using unstructuredtext information available on Internet focused on road conditionschange.
