This paper describes nominal structures in the Timucua Language. Timucua was a native American Language that died in the 18th century. The only remaining evidence of how the language was spoken is preserved in Spanish-Timucua translations of Catholic Mission texts. From noun phrases in these texts, this paper refutes a description of Timucua nominal structure, specifically that of Granberry (1993) and forms a new hypothesis based on the available empirical evidence.
