Desenvolvimento de uma proposta pedagógica investigativa sobre ecossistemas aquáticos degradados com a criação de recursos educacionais digitais

Abstract: In biology teaching, the theme of environmental education is commonly treated together with ecology, which, however, traditionally addresses biotic and abiotic, inorganic, and organic factors, without analyzing them in the context of environments degraded by anthropic action. The student, even though he has direct contact with these environments, does not relate the scientific concepts studied with the degraded landscape. Some proposals from the field of science teaching to face this situation stand out: contextualize, learn the contents based on research and incorporate elements of activism for the transformation of this reality. The objective of this work was to develop an investigative pedagogical proposal with the creation of digital educational resources, to support the learning of ecology concepts about aquatic ecosystems degraded by coal mining in the southern region of Santa Catarina. To overcome the challenges listed above, the pedagogical proposal relied on the creation of digital resources developed collaboratively with the team of biology and informatics teachers at a technical school in Criciúma/SC, considering: the local context, the stages of teaching by investigation and socio-environmental responsibilities and possible courses of action.
