Requisitos para o design de aplicações web sobre educação sexual para adolescentes brasileiras

Abstract: During adolescence, there are several transformations and a more intense discovery of sexuality. Sex education is important to enable young people to exercise protagonism over their body, allowing for a full and responsible sex life, with awareness of possible diseases, aspects of reproduction, anatomy and consent. However, rights related to sexuality are denied due to a history of stigma, taboos, gender inequality, lack of access to information and lack of public policies on sexuality for this public. Among the adolescent public, there are still groups that have even more barriers to accessing sex education. This project focuses on teenage girls who suffer from gender inequity regarding sexuality and sex education. Regarding the scope, it covers, with an inclusive objective, socially vulnerable adolescents who have barriers to receiving sex education due to lack of access to basic education and health services. Technology is a useful tool for sharing information and knowledge, with great potential for inclusive education. Human-Computer Interaction and Information Design are areas of knowledge that can facilitate access and understanding of information and knowledge. Knowledge in these areas associated with the use of technology have the ability to facilitate access to information, through an inclusive and user-focused approach, thus supporting, within the adolescent public in general, communities that suffer from access barriers due to their socioeconomic context. Substantiated on these areas this dissertation is aimed at proposing support requirements for the construction of educational applications about sex education for this same target audience. A prototype of an educational web application on the topics of contraceptive methods, the morning after pill and what to do after being a victim of sexual violence in sexual education based on the requirements of inclusive sex education for Brazilian adolescents was built as a proof of concept. As a methodological strategy, an exploratory literature review was conducted to base the solution to be developed, a case study of solution validation was developed, and a qualitative analysis of the case study data was carried out. Based on a heuristics development methodology, all the work gave rise to requirements that synthesize recommendations and relevant aspects for the computational solution in the theme. The main contribution of the dissertation consists of a set of requirements on the design, illustration and development of inclusive educational applications for Brazilian adolescents. The objectives of this dissertation were achieved insofar as, as a result, a list of 23 design requirements for a computational solution based on the literature was obtained; educational materials were developed to help communicate the content on sex education presented in the prototype, with 3 educational animations and 3 educational pages diagrammed with interactive images and text; and the sexual education educational web application was evaluated with young Brazilian women…
