Abstract

The present research sets up a study of a case at Jesus Soares Pereira Municipal School. This investigation had as general objective to analyses teachers’ graduation process and how the continued education can contribute to generate transformations on his pedagogical practices, having as support the use of technological resources. Aiming to achieve this objective, two university graduation and extension courses, offered by CIEP-165 in partnership with LIpE/UFRJ, were evaluated, as well as the methodology used in these courses. This research aimed to be qualitative through empiric observation, interviews, field journal in line with conceited theories concerning with the proposed theme. Following a line of critical-reflexive analysis, this investigation was developed achieving reliable results. The listening of teachers who took part of the course and the coordinators of the formation activities, collaborated to elucidate the methodology used in the formation course and co-create a characteristic board of the methods observed in the courses. The formation activities had two months of duration and happened through videoconference due to the pandemic period. In general way, the development of the research allowed us to redo that the teacher awareness of participating in the formation courses is a preponderant factor for the transformations of his pedagogical practice. It is necessary to break with the status quo, as the teacher is not anymore, the one who detains the knowledge neither who transmits contents, but he became a facilitator of systemic knowledge which by sharing them with their students can generate products with authorship. Another primordial factor is the participation of the teachers in spaces of dialogue that can create questioning and reflections about the new pedagogical practices related to theories of learning which collaborate with the process of students learning. This study listed elements that can collaborate to future partnerships of university formation and extension course that has the focus in innovate this laboratorial activity.
