While studying at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) I learned and practiced the techniques of image structuring, Laban energies, Fitzmaurice Voicework®, and emotional preparation. This thesis chronicles how I formulated a process using these techniques to aide me in portraying a fully realized character through rehearsing and performing the role of Sherry in SCAD’s production of Jessica Dickey’s play 'The Amish Project'.'
