Abstract

Computer Aided State Estimation of Electric Power Networks is a fundamental introduction to the topic of state estimation at an advanced textbook level for teaching a course at either the graduate or undergraduate level, as well as for Post Graduate students and Research Scholars who want to review of the latest techniques and best mathematical approaches for estimating the state of a general system. Theory as well as practice of Distribution System State Estimation (DSSE) is covered with imperative rigidity. About The Author

Dr. S. Subramanian is Professor and Head, Department of Electrical Engineering, Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar, Tamil Nadu, India. A Senior Member in IEEE and a Fellow in Institution of Engineers (India). He has completed thirty years of service in Teaching and Research. He has published 210 Research articles which includes 75 Web of Science articles and International Conferences. He has authored a book on Electric Power Flow Analysis (Lambert Publishers, Germany) and contributed four book chapters in IET, Springer and IGI Global publishers. He has Guided 20 Ph.D scholars and 40 Post Graduate Thesis. He has been honored with the Best Researcher Award by the Annamalai University in the year 2009.

Dr. S. Ganesan, a Senior Member in IEEE and a Member in Institution of Engineers (India). He has published 100 research articles which includes 30 Web of Science articles and international conferences. He has authored a book on Electric Power Flow Analysis (Lambert Publishers, Germany) and contributed three book chapters in IET and IGI Global publishers. He has guided 3 Ph.D scholars and 10 post graduate thesis.

Dr. M. Hariprasath is Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Audisankara College of Engineering and Technology, Andhra Pradesh, India. He has published many research articles in Web of Science Journals.
